Terms of Service

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before using Myshoplet. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Myshoplet ("Platform", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including sellers, visitors, and administrators. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Myshoplet account. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3. Seller Accounts

  • Each seller may only maintain one active Myshoplet account unless explicitly authorised otherwise
  • You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must not share your login credentials with unauthorised parties
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your store information, product listings, and pricing
  • You must not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Platform to:

  • Sell counterfeit, stolen, illegal, or prohibited goods
  • Engage in fraudulent transactions or deceive customers
  • Violate any applicable Nigerian or international law or regulation
  • Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, harmful, or infringes on third-party rights
  • Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or compromise the security of the Platform
  • Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) to customers
  • Use the Platform for money laundering or any financial crime

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account found in violation of these rules, without prior notice.

5. Subscription Plans & Billing

Myshoplet offers three subscription tiers — Growth, Pro, and Enterprise. Plan details are as follows:

PlanPriceProductsOrdersPlatform Fee
Growth₦15,000/monthUp to 200Up to 1,000/month1% per online order
Pro₦35,000/monthUnlimitedUnlimited0% (no fee)
Enterprise₦75,000/monthUnlimitedUnlimited0% (no fee)
  • New stores receive a 14-day free trial of Growth plan features — no payment required. The trial expires automatically; no action is needed to cancel. When it ends without a paid subscription, the store is paused — the storefront goes offline — until a plan is chosen. Store data is retained and restored on reactivation.
  • Point of Sale (POS) terminal is available on Pro and Enterprise plans only
  • Paid plans are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Discounts are available for quarterly (10% off), biannual (15% off), and annual (20% off) billing
  • All fees are charged in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
  • Downgrading or cancelling a plan takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Enterprise plan includes up to 5 store locations; all other plans support 1 store

6. Fees on Online Orders

Two separate deductions apply to orders paid online through your Myshoplet store link. They are shown as separate lines in your wallet so you can always see which is which.

1. Myshoplet platform fee — our charge, based on your plan:

  • Growth plan (including the 14-day free trial): 1% of each online order value
  • Pro plan: 0% — no platform fee
  • Enterprise plan: 0% — no platform fee
  • If your plan lapses, any order still paid online is charged at the Growth rate of 1% — we never charge a higher rate than the plan you last held
  • The fee applies to the product value of the order. Delivery charges are excluded from the fee calculation
  • Orders collected offline (cash, direct bank transfer, or in-person POS) are not subject to the platform fee — those payments go directly to you
  • Platform fee rates may be updated with at least 30 days' notice to existing sellers

2. Payment processing fee — charged by Paystack, not by Myshoplet. This is the standard cost of accepting card and online payments in Nigeria, and it is the same charge you would pay using Paystack directly. We pass it through at exactly the amount Paystack takes — we never add a margin to it, and we never estimate it.

This fee applies only to orders paid online. If Paystack's rates change, the amount passed through changes with them. If we cannot determine the exact amount charged on a payment, we absorb it rather than estimate.

Both deductions are applied at the point of payment, and the net amount is credited to your Myshoplet wallet.

Refunds: where an order is refunded, the Myshoplet platform fee is reversed to you. The payment processing fee is not returned by Paystack on a refund and therefore cannot be reversed.

7. Payments & Payouts

  • Online payments are processed via Paystack. By using our payment features, you also agree to Paystack's Terms of Service
  • Your earnings accumulate in your Myshoplet wallet after the platform fee and payment processing fee are deducted
  • You may withdraw your available wallet balance to a verified Nigerian bank account, subject to a minimum withdrawal of ₦5,000
  • Money from an online order becomes available to withdraw 24 hours after the payment is received. Until then it appears in your balance but is still clearing. This protects both of us: a card payment can be disputed by the bank after it has settled, and the clearing period means those cases are caught before the money leaves the platform
  • Payments you collect offline (cash, direct transfer, in-person POS) are not subject to a clearing period
  • A processing fee applies to each withdrawal: ₦50 for withdrawals up to ₦5,000; ₦100 for ₦5,001–₦50,000; ₦150 for above ₦50,000
  • Withdrawals are limited to 3 per 24 hours, and are not available in the first 7 days after your account is created
  • Withdrawals are processed within 1–2 business days
  • Myshoplet is not liable for delays caused by your bank or payment processor
  • We reserve the right to withhold payouts if we suspect fraudulent activity on your account

8. Verification & Withdrawal Limits

To protect the platform and comply with Nigerian financial regulations, sellers must verify before funds are released. How much you can withdraw, and how quickly, depends on how far you have verified.

Tier 1 — Identity (KYC). Required before your first withdrawal:

  • You may be required to submit a government-issued ID (National ID, International Passport, or Driver's Licence)
  • Submitted documents are reviewed by our compliance team and stored securely
  • We do not store raw ID numbers (BVN/NIN) — only the document image and verification status
  • Once approved, you may withdraw up to ₦500,000 in any 24-hour period

Tier 2 — Business (KYB). Optional, and available once Tier 1 is approved. It raises your limit to ₦5,000,000 in any 24-hour period and unlocks automatic payout, where earnings go straight to your bank as each order is paid. Automatic payout is restricted to Tier 2 because it releases funds without the 24-hour clearing period described above.

Tier 2 requires your business name, business type, your CAC registration number and a copy of your CAC certificate. Sellers not registered with CAC may verify against their personal identity instead.

We check that the bank account you withdraw to belongs to the verified person or business. Where it does not, we may ask you to provide an account that does before approving Tier 2.

Limits apply over a rolling 24-hour window rather than a calendar day. Providing false or fraudulent documents will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities. Approval is at the sole discretion of Myshoplet's compliance team, and we may decline or revoke a verification, or vary these limits, where we reasonably suspect fraud or where required by law or by our payment partners.

9. Account Security

Myshoplet employs multiple measures to protect your account and funds. By using the Platform, you acknowledge the following security behaviours:

  • Changing your password immediately signs out all other active sessions on other devices — this is intentional and protects your account
  • If a login is detected from a new device or IP address not previously associated with your account, we will send an alert to your registered email
  • Your account may be temporarily locked after repeated failed withdrawal attempts to prevent unauthorised access to your funds
  • Bank account changes are subject to a 24-hour hold on withdrawals as a fraud prevention measure
  • We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) from your profile settings for additional security
  • You must notify us immediately at support@myshoplet.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

10. AI Sales Agent

  • The WhatsApp AI Sales Agent is an automated service. Responses are generated by AI and may not always be perfect.
  • You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated replies and ensuring they are accurate
  • You must not use the AI agent to send illegal, deceptive, or abusive messages
  • Myshoplet reserves the right to pause or terminate AI agent access for accounts in violation of these terms
  • AI agent access requires a paid Growth, Pro, or Enterprise plan. It is not included in the 14-day free trial. When a trial ends without a subscription, the store is paused until a plan is chosen.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding on the Myshoplet Platform are the intellectual property of Myshoplet or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

By uploading content to the Platform (product images, store descriptions, etc.), you grant Myshoplet a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content to operate and promote the Platform.

12. Seller–Customer Transactions

Myshoplet is a platform that facilitates transactions between sellers and their customers. We are not a party to those transactions. Sellers are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of product descriptions and pricing
  • Fulfilling orders in a timely and professional manner
  • Handling returns, refunds, and disputes with customers
  • Compliance with consumer protection laws in Nigeria

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Myshoplet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Myshoplet in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, fail to pass identity verification, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nigeria.
